Privacy Policy

Pingaroo is operated by DGTLART, a sole proprietor based in Florida. You can reach us at ai@pingaroos.com.

Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address via Supabase Auth.

Scan data. When you run a scan, we collect the website URL and brand name you enter, the results of that scan, and the IP address of the request (used only for rate limiting).

Payment information. If you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only a Stripe customer ID.

Usage data. We use PostHog to collect anonymised analytics about how the product is used (pages visited, features used). No personal data is shared with PostHog beyond what you explicitly provide.

Cookies. We use cookies solely to maintain your login session via Supabase. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

To provide the Pingaroo service — running scans, storing reports, and managing your account.

To process subscription payments and send receipts via Stripe and Resend.

To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse (IP address).

To understand how the product is used and improve it (PostHog analytics).

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

Running Pingaroo requires sharing certain data with the following services:

• Supabase:Database, authentication, and file storage.
• OpenAI:AI analysis of scan results. Your brand name and site content may be sent to OpenAI.
• Anthropic:AI interrogation queries. Your brand name may be sent to Anthropic.
• Perplexity:AI interrogation queries. Your brand name may be sent to Perplexity.
• Stripe:Subscription payment processing.
• Resend:Transactional email delivery (magic links, receipts).
• PostHog:Product analytics.
• Vercel:Application hosting and infrastructure.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

We retain your account and scan data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Scan results may be retained in anonymised form for product improvement.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing ai@pingaroos.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Pingaroo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
